What is the difference between a five year old car that looks fit for the scrap heap and a 40 year old car that looks brand new? Lots of love and attention!
Before you begin the overall wash, have a quick walk-around inspection and see if you can find areas with any dried-on grit or dead flies etc. It is a good idea to remove these before the main wash as they can scratch your paintwork if they get caught in your mitt.

Getting into a clean car is the next best thing to stepping into a new one!
