June 26 | 09by:The Editorial Team It was a cool, crisp morning on the Friday 12th of June. There were clouds in the sky, and an eerie silence around the Mountain Road - soon to be shattered by the roaring beasts set to race by at over 100 mph!
On the morning of the Senior TT Isle of Man race 2009, the Discovery Turbo team was in position. Each of the bikes navigated the blind turns, continuing down onto what seemed like an everlasting straight.
We were sitting by the radio to hear the start of the race, but it wasn't needed - you could hear the deep, almost bass-like sound of pistons exploding into life within their metal coffin of 1000cc engine block from anywhere nearby!
