G20 Riots - Traffic Cops

Nice to see the heads of state smoking around the city in their ridiculous cars! I was held up today in rubbish traffic by out-riding police who looked like they were straight out of the seventies cop show Chips! Honestly one even had Ray-Ban aviators on with what looked like a reflection of the Arizona desert in them!

The way they carve through the traffic to halt everyone at the next junction so some ludicrous Limo can cruise through with some dignitary from afar can get eggs chucked at them at the G20 Summit.

I so want to be a cop on a bike at a time like this, wicked, you literally own the road, nobody will mess with you and the liberties you can take are breathtaking. One Chips wannabe this morning was riding on the wrong side of the road while talking into his phone on his gleaming BMW motorbike and my only thought was jealousy!

Barack Obama swooped past in what’s called the beast, as big as a bendy bus and just as weird! This thing is made of bullet proof titanium with its own oxygen supply. Its Cadillac badge on the front is I’m sure the only thing Caddy supplied to the car! However impressive this cavalcade sight was I couldn’t help wonder what it would be like to be the cop at the front.
